Life Path Retreats

A one day encounter, the Life Path Discovery Retreats are designed to empower families to learn their personality styles, parenting styles, and stronger communication with each other. Grace Equine is partnering with LifeSong Ministries to host Life Path Retreats. While participating in the day, Equine Facilitated Learning games are combined for the whole family for 1-2 hours and separated for the remaining 2-3 hours. Children and youth will continue with equine games, Christian devotionals, crafts, and outdoor exploration with host Kristin Kirkland and volunteers. Parents will separate to have focused time to discuss parenting styles, children’s personality types, and learn ways to empower and nurture their children’s hearts with Steve and Joni Delaney.

“We walk by faith and not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7

Meet Steve & Joni Delaney

“We believe in the Father heart of God. It doesn’t take much to see the fatherlessness and the orphan mindset in the world around us and sometimes in ourselves” Steve Delaney.

Steve and Joni Delaney are a husband and wife team of over 36 years who have a heart for broken and hurting families and lost children. Their response to the burden of helping hurting children and families has lead them to parent 27 foster children at two Children’s homes and touch countless lives while working with Family Coaching in Lubbock Texas. Now relocated to Bedford, Steve and Joni have joined with Grace Equine to develop LifePath Discovery Retreats for local families in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area.

Parents gather with Steve and Joni Delaney from LifeSong Resources in the comfort of the ranch barn house living room or the front yard under a shade tree. Lunch is served in the barn house and typically includes sloppy joes or sandwiches, fruit, salad, chips, water, lemonade, or tea. Lunch is provided for the whole family and included in the registration fee.

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when the heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit” Jeremiah 17:7-8.
